ParticipantHi Guys,
I wonder if someone has come across this fault before.
The above dishwasher flooded so I cleaned the water from the base as it kept draining the water.
After that as soon as you turn the machine on, select a programme and close the door, it beeps twice and the End light comes on. It does nothing else. the programme light also disappears.
Any Ideas?

What did you then do to retify the reason for the flooded base, what was the cause I wonder?

And what happens when you do a programme reset?

Hi Martin,
Well they were using 5 in one tablets and it had created foam in the dishwasher so I persume that is why it overflowed. Sorry when I say dishwasher flooded I meant to say it flooded the base and the anti flooding device kicked in.
as for the reset, i tried reseting it by pressing and holding the two buttons, it canceled the programme and then no matter which programme I try it does the same thing.
Regards
Omar

Ah!….Lets go back to that point then?….When you reset the machine and shut the door, did the pump run for 60 seconds?
Have you also checked if the pump works OK and that the Pressure Chamber is not gunged up?

Well in that case you’re going to have to drag the whole thing out and check everything I’m afraid. 🙁
Megger that heater, check those pressure chamber switches etc etc….having done that and you still draw a blank? Then it’s got to be a module fault I would think?
But you know what?….I’m still worried about the base getting flooded? 5 in 1 tabs don’t usually cause probs like that? Take the cover off that module to see if there’s any sign of burning? (I doubt it but worth a look just the same!) 😉
