ParticipantGood afternoon,
Wondering if anyone can shed some light on a problem with the above dishwasher?
I have renewed the control unit: 264882 on the above dishwasher, to rectify a no water fill fault.
This has cured the above, but will not heat up now as no feed is being provided to the heater.
I coded the new ecu as per instructions, and upon testing discovered a no heat problem.
I ascertained that there are only two out of the seven possible codes relevant to this dishwasher, and have tried both ( code O and code 1) but no heat!
Either I’m doing something wrong, although followed and was happy with the coding instructions, or the new unit is faulty.
As I bought the new ecu from Masterpart, it is non-returnable, and would appreciate any advice.
Regards,
jonty

Got to be a problem with the connector block to the PCB or wiring between the two. Never heard of a problem with no heat on a new configured PCB. An odd one I must admit, and for what it is worth I’ve never changed a PCB for a no fill fault. 🙁

Thank you Martin,
Do you know where I can obtain a wiring diagram for this model?
I have had difficulty obtaining such diagrams from Bosch/NEFF/Siemens in the past, and it would be handy to have a look at one.

I’d have a look at wiring loom in door, strange that the board caused a no fill fault though

I know this is an old thread but I’ve hit the same problem today with the same pcb and wondering if anyone has any suggestions.
Machine was not heating and turned out the board was blown, I replaced the board (264882) and programmed as per instructions. Tried an intensive wash and a “normal” cycle and it doesn’t heat, found out by chance however that it is heating on a quick wash and an eco wash.
It’s like the buttons have pretty much reversed on the board, however this may not be the case as not actually timed a full program yet to know for sure. The coding was definitely carried out correctly.
Any ideas before I loose my head with this machine?

IIRC both the Normal & Intensive programmes do a pre soak cycle first with no heat. Whereas the Quickwash and Eco cycles bypass the pre soak and go straight into a heated main wash. Therefore I don’t think you have a fault there. 😀

As Martin suggested , on normal and intensive cycles , the heating cycle doesn’t kick in for about 20 minutes.

Guys, I can’t believe it after spending so much time on this but you are both right. The initial thing that threw me off was the machine in question has a 65 degree normal wash listed on the button, but the coding shows all the normal washes are 55 degree so I convinced myself it was a problem with the board from the start.
If I ever see either of you in a pub, I owe you a drink. Thanks for saving the little sanity I have left. 😀
