ParticipantHi there
This may result in the same answer to the post: “Bosch dishwasher fills but does not start” but I wasn’t sure so thought it might be better as a new post
As in the post mentioned above, I have been experiencing something similar with my Neff dishwasher (S5443X1GB/29). You start it up and it appears to be filling up with water, the soap tablet gets ejected out of the soap dispenser but nothing else happens. There are no usual sounds and the two arms are not moving. After some time, quicker than normal, the dishwasher beeps to indicate that the wash cycle is complete. When you open the door, the dishes have not been cleaned, the water resides in the bottom with the soap tablet still there too
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi there
followed your advice…removed the right hand side panel to gain access to the motor and tried to move the blades. Unfortunately, the blades did not move 🙁
Based on what has been posted, I guess its the motor that has packed up.
There are two rubber clips either side of the motor which we have unclipped. There are also three cables going into the top of the motor which we have also unclipped. the motor is now free but still connected to the pipes. We can’t see any further screws or clips. It looks like its connected to a white disc but we can’t see any visible clips to unclip 😕 Can you please advise in how we can remove the motor?? If you require a picture then let me know and I send it to you or upload it somewhere for you to see (pls provide instructions on where and how)Many Thanks

There is a locking tab to be depressed before the motor can be rotated on the bayonet fitting. You are supposed to remove the cavity from the base to give yourself enough room…….. not a nice job.
