ParticipantHi again.
My parents dishwasher this time!
It a built in Neff, 3 years old. It needs resetting before each wash or it sticks with 1 minute to go and doesn’t finish. Sometimes the dishes are still wet. Started doing this on just the auto program, now does it on all of them.
Any ideas on this one?
Thanks

Most likely
1/ Crud in the top of the water matrix (output ventilation valve)
2/ Transfer pipe crudded up
3/ Levelling/metering unit crudded up4/ Too little water in appliance due to 2 and 3 above
Power off if you are to investigate yourself

Just wondering where I can find the levelling/metering unit? Is this in the vacinity of the matrix and pressure chamber?
Many thanks for your help.

Yea just below the matrix, it actually plugs into it

Greg, isn’t that ‘1 minute left’ actually error code 1 which is no heating?
…in which case the most likely culprit is the heater itself 😉
Andrew, the only satisfactory way to confirm is to meter the heater, and if it’s faulty will need replacing…not cheap (circa £80 ) and it’s a big strip-down job to replace 😕
If you need professional help then try the link below, or if having a go yourself then unplug before doing anything :zap:

You may have something Clive 😀 Can’t do any harm in checking just with him saying it was doing it on the auto (turbidity sensor in action) and now it does it on all. My money is on crud 😉 You a betting man Clive 😆

Some good pointers here. If it is reset before each use it works ok, but I can’t see this lasting long.
