    Hi,
    Set on the rinse cycle

The aquastop (Bitron 902) opens to let water in – fills for 2minutes, then the outlet valve opens and the pump pulses 3 times to empty out some water – this senario then repeats continuously until the door is opened. The “check water supply indicator” is lit and the programme has not started.

Is the problem with the aquastop or is there a level fill sensor inside that is not switching the aquastop or could it be something else?

It’ll be the flow rate sensor ( impellor jug 424099 ) that sits in line with the inlet hose. You’ll find it as a whilte circular component on the left hand side between the water matrix and the end of the inlet hose.

    Power off when investigating.

Thanks for the prompt reply and good info.

Removed the flow rate sensor via the access panel for the inlet hose after unclipping from the water matrix.

Was mechanically sound and spun freely, so cleaned contacts with switch cleaner and replaced.

Auto cycle now works again, if it fails again i’ll replace it but I was made redundant in May so any saving is a good one.

    Thanks again
