    Hi all

Any of you who works on NEFF could help here.

displays ‘F’ and the drain pump runs with the door open or shut!

Any help would be appreciated before I go out to it.

The base is flooded Bryan, it’s got a leak somewhere and the anti-flood switch has activated 😉

    Yup flooded base.

Drain it off, find leak, fix leak Bobs yer uncle 😉

BTW the F will remain in display for a while once drained, just let it run for a bit.

    Hi
“F” is a fill fault, but by the symptoms given does sound like a base full of water/float activation.

If water is present check usual suspects

1/ Weeping fill valve housing joint (inside cavity)
2/ Weeping from ‘o’ ring/s of heater to sump
3/ Gunged metering unit and/or ribbed hose from unit to sump
4/ 3 or 4 in 1 tablets used in conjunction with rinse aid causing excess foam and overfill
