hi.

having just removed the sides of the dishwasher i have found the leak is water coming from the hole in the top of the water distribtion tank on the left hand side,

should this hole have a plug in it, or is the problem something more complex,

it also makes clunging noises when the programme starts may 4 or 5 times.

That whole water inlet system and water level device will require removing and cleaning thoroughly to resolve your problem.

Do mean the water tank beneath the tub and salt chamber etc

Or just the side tanks and the float valve and switches.
I removed the side tank and gave it blast through with the garden hose
I also took apart the float valve assembly stuck it all back together

I still have the same leak from the top of the water tank??

And same clung!!!

Then replace the “water tank”.

problem has been resolved at the cost of £4,

for anyone who has the same problems as mine,

a simple fix just reduce the water pressure going to the machine with either a pressure reducing valve or just a isaluation valve turned half way between open and closed.
