sorry cant find any model no on this one its the one with the hotpoint type element (visable) in the cabinet it was leaking from the side tank at the bottom right hand side of the tank there is a small triangular opening and it is leaking out of there on the fill i cant find any blockages (possibly faulty side tank ?)

help any ideas?

Obviously a shot in the dark without model number, but I imagine the leak is from the breather hole. It s overflowing because the metering hose (thick “S” shaped hose from metering tank to sump) is gunged up.
Remove and clean thoroughly or even better replace app £5.

Yup, hose from metering tank to sump clagged up. Model number likely to found on small label at about 1 o’clock on casing surrounding door.
