Neff single oven B15P52N3GB – bulb blew then shorted the module

I wanted to see if this can be prevented from happening again as I replaced this particular model with new module and new bulb.

I couldn’t see why this is the cause, my hunch is probably it’s down to the lamp holder that isn’t keeping things well. The owner never used the self cleaning function which I guess rules it out.

I don’t particularly want to throw good money after bad considering I repaired this oven 4 months ago and the owner quite rightly want it fixed but before I go ahead ordering new replacement module, I needed to be sure that nothing on it can trigger the shorting of the bulb and control module.

I look forward to see what others have to say on this…
