Neff single oven door issue

Hi guys,

I have a problem with a neff single oven, the original call was to the door not closing, new hinges sorted that out but the customer notices that the oven door doesn’t close smoothly anymore, it gets to about five inches from closed and then snaps shut.

Being elderly she isn’t happy with this so I have tried another set of hinges just in case and new hinge supports to no avail.

Anyone had anything similar before? And any ideas on how to make it close smoothly again for her.

Whats the model number?

From my experience, the doors are designed to ‘snap shut’ aren’t they? Maybe the old hinges had deteriated and the customer has gotten used to faulty hinges?

I would agree with neon. Those doors do ‘snap shut’ when the hinges are good.
