    Hi
We have a 10 years old Neff – model B45E42N0GB
The door has started to pop-off the runners, and unfortunately this has also smashed the inside glass.
I’ve looked at the sliding mechanism, and it all seems OK. I’ve reattached the door, made sure the two plastic locks are in place, and it seems to slide back and forth OK. However, if I slide it an pull it slightly to one side, the runners pop out of the track (with quite a twang – that must have been what caused the glass to break). It almost seems as if the oven has got slightly wider that the door, or maybe the black plastic runners (in the picture) have warn to the point that they dont fit snug.
Anyone recognise this problem? Any ideas? I dont want to replace the door glass until I know the sliding mechanism is safe.
    Thanks in advance

    there are 2 locks

one to hold the mech in the correct position to replace the door

the other locks the door on so you can release the first one to slide it up and down

    Hi. Thanks Dave.
I’m pretty sure I’ve seatedt teh door correctly. I’ve twisted the plastic locks on the stansion so the door cannot be lifted out, and opened the locks on the mech so it can be slided back and forth. The mechanism works well if I pull straight back and forward, but if I pull slightly left or right the door pops off the runners (the stantion lock is stil on so even once is popped off the runners, you cant lift the door off. Make sense?

is the bar between the 2 support bearings look ok

there is something allowing the door to over twist and pop out of the runners
