neff slim d/w overfilling

Neff s5943x2gb/41 its one with the large plastic side tank, theres no impellor jug and the transfer hose and pressure chamber are clear. it fills up but doesn’t release the water from the right hand side of the tank and just keeps filling making the float lift and activate the drain pump. ive changed the valve on the side of the salt pot but no joy.

any ideas pls

put in your Enr and pull up the diags

go to page 4
see item 0411 this item is the water level switch. as unit fills you can watch the bar operating the switch. check switch and if its working check the wiring back to the timer
it may not stop filling as the switch operated but should stop soon after

cheers dave, the switch is operating ok, ive checked the wiring loom back to the timer and all is ok,

sounds like a board fault

does the main motor start ?

I managed to get the motor going a couple of times but only after I had drained all the system before starting

Then it sounds to me you’ve changed the wrong valve. The ‘outlet valve’ (00166874) needs changing and that is the one on the right of the ‘salt valve’.

that’s the one I changed martin the one with the rubber plunger,
baffling me this one. bet its something daft im missing

Found a chafed wire next to the hinge, repaired it, job done 😉
