    Hello my mother in law has this induction hob that every now and then locks up with the key symbol and comes up E. I’m guessing its something to do with modules but thought I’d find out if there’s a reset u can go through or something. Cheers

    The E error means the surface of the hob and control panel is filthy and needs cleaning. Mother -in- law’s eh what are they like? Does she cook for you?

    Nevertheless the error means the control panel needs cleaning and kept clean to prevent it happening again.

    So it sounds like modules then if cleaning it doesn’t work
