Neff T4344N0/08 cooling fan runs continuously

So Neff induction hob, cooling fan runs all the time even when the hob hasn’t been used for hours. None of the rings are showing as being hot on the display. I’ve had a look at parts diagrams there seems to be an NTC on each of the rings however I can’t see any others.

any ideas on what this might be?

These are a nightmare to diagnose. 🙁

There will be a sensor to operate the fans but, where it is etc I have no idea and on some, they will be embedded within the induction zones which are not a cheap thing to replace.
