When using the top oven ( non fan assist ) on my NEF U1421 the control panel which sits over the oven gets hot, too hot to touch. There does not seem to be the usual hot air blowing out of the vent just above the door. When using the bottom oven at the same time the hot air blows out ok, and the control panle doen’t get hot. Any advice gratefully received !
It could possibly be the cooling fan seized or gunged up . These appliances have 2 cooling fans situated at the back . You will need to remove the rear panel to get access. The fans are barrel shaped and you’ll probably find the top one stuck.
