fitted door hinges 2 months ago,usual problem not closing fully, customer rang today saying same problem has reocurred.
I am calling tomorrow to check..
He tells me he as done some research and its a common problem on this model !!! anyone know of this. Thanks John

You didn’t say whether it is the main oven door or bottom oven door hinges you replaced. But either way the only thoughts that spring to mind are that perhaps they are not fully located correctly into their sockets? Locking the hinges, removing and relocating the door fully may just resolve the issue….hopefully?

I am not aware of any known problems with hinges except fair wear & tear over time. Having fitted new hinges 2 months ago rules that problem right out I would think! 🙂

Did you fit the right hinges ? Top and bottom door hinges are different part numbers . Also , check if the door is ‘flat’ when fully open . If it goes past the horizontal , the hinge bearings may be faulty .

Thanks Gents, Martin it was main oven & corrected hinges fitted, it may be the hinge receivers (bearings)
