    Hi! i have this neff built in cooker U1721N0GB/02 and the middle section of the grill element is not coming on … the element is ok and not open circuit…. the grill selector switch looks ok to the eye … contacts look clean etc …. i suspect its the clock unit…? looks more than just a clock unit !

    The outer part of the grill element is ok… any other ideas other than electronic?

    Are you sure it’s set to the grill setting? and not to conventional top/bottom heat.

    Cos on top/bottom heat it will only use the outer part of the element.

    It’s expensive too… :rolls:

    Why not fit a new selector switch and see what gives? Spend 15 quid instead of 150 quid and it has got to be worth a punt surely? 8)

    yep gonna try changing the selector first….. am not confident tho! 😕
