Neff V4380 washer/Dryer drying cycle operates when not selec

Problem started this am, has a fishy smell and some smoke discoloration behind panel. Drying light remains on when not selected. I haven’t looked inside yet but would appreciate suggestions.

It could be any number of things really, clearly something has “fried” in there though 😕

A visual check should show up given there was smoke etc evident.

Please power off before going in :zap: and leave powered off until the problem is resolved 😉

managed to get it out & apart from a hernia I will live!! Got a couple of burnt tracks at rear of dryer timer switch. New panel is £100 apparently so weighing up options of attempting to bridge the damage once I have cleaned area & sorted out which went where!
