KeymasterStuck with this one……..
Went to this and customer said not spinning…..did
usual chexk and no motor action at all……
replaced end frame with one that can take new brushes
instead of whole end frame and now motor appears to stall?
To be honest it took so long to get my next day delivery……5 working days!!!!!!! wont say which supplier!!!!!
that I had forgot which way windings were ie
switch 180 degrees over (not end to end) but pretty sure they right.
Any ideas why motor seems to stall? module? windings?Regards Col

Please any Bosch guys got an idea why motor stalls…..
im sure its not just a problem on this brand of machine…..
it does starts to turn and you can see the pulley turn about 15 degrees
for few seconds then it stops and does same other direction
just as if motor has no go? or is it module?
Could the windings be the problem if thay are 180 degrees out?

It is very possible the motor has stuffed the module in this case? Was the commutator clean and the insulation clear on it I wonder? Getting at the module is a hell of a task on this model, but chances are if you could you may well spot a burnt track there somewhere I suspect? 🙁

Thanks for your reply Martin
Commutator looked very good clean nothing that would
stand out. There wasnt much carbon about really
compared to some ive seen. I didnt take module out
as it was late on a Friday (typical!) but I will do when I go back.
Do you think windings being round 180 degrees could be problem….it looks
as if it will fit either way i just didnt make them as expected
delivery next day…..by time it came couldnt remember……Any other ideas?

thanks module £239 doubt customer will pay that….
What would you do in this case…..repairing motor
has revealed an extra fault and so thats my time and
money on parts which were £45 from connect……
so too much to absorb…..what would you do?
I normally dont charge if I dont fix but this has been a bit of
a bugger so far…..Regards Col
