Neff V4380 Washer Dryer – Water not heating when drying

Hello,

A recent issue has emerged with my Neff V4380 washer dryer. I’m in rented accommodation so I’m not sure how old the machine is.

The machine seems to wash absolutely fine. The problem is with the dryer. You can set a dryer function and it complete the cycle as normal. However, after the cycle the clothes are still cold and soaking so I’m assuming the problem is with the heating of water.

Any advice on this matter?

Is this a problem I can investigate myself or does it need a replacement part or machine?

I think your first move would be to contact your landlord to see what arrangements can be made to get someone in to look at it for you.

I agree when you rent the property the landlord is responsible for the appliances unless it is written into your contract that you are

also your problem has nothing to do with heating water. the tumble dryer section heats air that blows into the drum and heats the clothes to evaporate the water off them.
