    Has anyone come across this strange fault on the above model Neff machines?

    the dryer part does not work.As soon as you start the dryer, voltage comes to the element but after few seconds it cuts off but the dryer fan keeps working throughout.

    the element, cutout are fine. I have changed PCB(Main one at the bottom) but no joy.

    any ideas?

    At a guess it could simply be that the NTC has failed and the module shuts the heat off? Have you checked it’s resistance reading?

    Hi Martin,

    yes I have checked the NTC that is next to the heater that is fine.

    The device next to the heater isn’t the NTC but the overheat TOC. The NTC is located in the ducting that goes down to the door boot 😉
