Neff W4380X1GB/01 FD-8109 – 1 Min

Hi Guys,
The above washing machine apparently went through most of a cycle then got to 1 min on display then just sat dormant for a while until cust drained it etc manually, Now when turned on, Choose the prog and it just displays 1 min no matter what prog you select, Press start , the door locks and nothing. Just sits there, I’ve cheked the valves, element, and motor all seem o.k, No obvious blows on board or door lock.
Any ideas?

IIRC you’ll need to select the ‘X’ position on the programme selector and then press the start button to clear the previous error. Hopefully that should clear it?

Motor brushes, heater and gunged-up air bell can also lead to odd programme errors. It’s an old beast so likely as not one of those will need sorting anyway!:wink:

Hi Martin, There doesnt appear to be an X on the selector. Its not like the bosch turn dial.
I tried turning it off for 5 mins etc to no avail

Ah yes, now I remember, turn the dial to the number 1 symbol resets it. 😀
