Hi all, my Neff washer dryer V6540X1GB/07 has now refused to wash my pants. Several times it has came up with an E05 error code partway through its cycle. I don’t think it’s down to my pants. Now it refuses to start ie fill. I’m unable to test the ohms value of the solenoid coil in question as I haven’t a multimeter only a Megga MFT 1721. However the fill Solenoid kicks in when I start a program and opens as it should as I can blow down it. I’ve removed the filler hose at the top of the machine obviously and no water is present. I suspect it could be the Aquastop at fault here. Again I can’t test this properly either without a multimeter. Long story short (not) is this more than likely to be the issue here? Many thanks for your time, Daz.. P.S. I’m running out of pants and don’t wish to go commando anytime soon, it’s not a pretty site

Hi all, I know I only posted this yesterday and I guess everyone’s probably busy so understand why no one has replied as yet. Through my own due diligence I was able to answer my own question. I hope this helps others with similar issues. I bypassed the Aquastop in the end. I’m now washing my pants, thank god and ordered a new Aquastop.
