New ATMs rollout

Just wondered if anyone has had the pleasure of using the new atm machines. I’m with Santander free business banking where you can only use these to pay in to your account. Whereas the old system just meant putting your all your cheques in one envelope and cash in another. The new atm means you feed each cheque or note in one at a time :cuss:
I ended up using the old atm out in the street. Something I never normally do. I generally only get half a dozen or so cheques each week, so you can imagine the queues forming when someone paying shedloads of cheques and notes. :haier:

Halifax machines being doing that for at least 10 years.. Cash or cheques… Tho not sure they do any business accounts!

I’ve just Googled the answer HERE and I have to say from what I’ve seen and what I know of ATM’s then I will never ever use that facility….no way Jose’ 🙁

Hi Rick,
Are you sure, Im with Santander and they have just put in the brand new ATM’s in my local branches, I can still put all cheques in one envelope.
Might be worth asking the clerk to clarify this.
