Hi,

I have a hotpoint cdt00p , the drum shaft at the back has snapped, when i take the cover off on the back of the machine, the end of the shaft comes away with the fixing. I am nor sure what I actually have to replace, obviously the shaft, but what about the bearings etc, their seems to be various kits available and i dont knowwhat one i need. Also is their a simple noddy guide to replacing the shaft, happy to give it a go as quite comftable doing such a job. Many thanks for any replies and help

A 1703080 shaft and seal kit has all the parts you need.

I very much doubt you will be comfortable attempting this repair. 😥

No simple guide, just follow your nose. 😉

thanks for reply, note it says for a vdt00p model is that the same as the old cdt00p

try C00113038 in you search its the same part just a more up to date part no. and yes it the same part.
