ParticipantWhere do you source your new Bosch appliances from?
I find the Wholesalers I use good on other makes but Bosch prices are a bit high to compete with the on-line stores. What sort of turnover do you need to be doing to get an account with Bosch?

I get all mine from Swift now. Free delivery twice a week, great drivers and prices pretty good. A good range of brands too.

Hi Tim
Bosch direct for us, to be able to access all lines you will need to display 5 items and have them ready for demo. That apart the prices are good, online ordering through Tradeplace is very easy and the promotions are strong.

Thanks for the replies. I do use Swift. What do you add on per machine? I find most of Swifts prices to be the same as the on-line shops. I like to put at least £60 on a sale.

i’m not going to say who, some of you might be too near my patch, but I buy of one of the online sellers. They give me a small discount, have a huge stock, so I only buy what I need. They recycle the old appliance, deliver the new one, all I have to do is connect it and demonstrate it to the customer! Very good service, and I dont break my back. 😀

By having a direct account you would shave about £30 off both those prices which would then give you a slightly better margin while keeping your prices realistic.
