Fitted an Indesit door seal to a WIXL machine and it catches the drum on spin. Had this (regularly) on Servis machines but not on these. Door seals in placcy bags in warm vans in summer (summer???) dont go well together. Apart from her putting up with the noise for a few spins :rolls: any tips from the bods in the know.

Yep I know she could always bin the machine and get a new door seal with an ISE round it 😉

Split tub or welded? What’s the model no Tony? Was the previous seal replaced due to the dreaded ‘tub rub’? (Oooooh nastie! 😈 )

Sorry Martin I was being a bit general. The model is a WIXL163 with a mucky boot(spring retainer type). No problems before fitting the new one. Just no gap now.

There are 2 different ones fitted to this model I believe. Early & late depending on serial number. 🙁

Yep the two types are spring or clamp fixing.
Numbers are 80464400075 and 807227673 and I fitted C00262267 seal after visiting the font of all knowledge :worthy: so it MUST be the right seal 😉
