New door seal needed

Hi, I need to order a new door seal for an integrated washer/dryer but I am having trouble identifying the manufacturer. It is an unbranded machine that was installed by the builders of the flat. There is a sticker behind the plinth with model number and serial number which are:

Model 8762
SN 20041403789 014103003-01

The instruction manual that was supplied (which appears to be the correct one) states the model number as APM8721 which I think is Hygena.

Any ideas and can I get a door seal for this model and how are they fitted?

apm8721 relates to a servis machine but the numbers on the machine i dont know.beware of ordering with numbers in manual,not to be trusted usually.

Hi Alan,

This is the seal you need

Fitting is it relatively straightforward although it very often results in skinned knuckles, the odd missing chunk of skin and an occasional cut or three, but with patience and a little perseverance it’s normally okay.

The model number on the sticker could be 8702 which uses the same seal as model 8721 so would make sense. I will order the seal for APM8702/8721 and see if it fits.

How do you get at the inner seal clamp, from the top or the bottom?
