New Fan Motor fitted but not working reliably

Sorry if this is duplicated but have just tried once and clicked a button which made the whole page disappear – whoops!!

Have refitted old (obsolete) fan motor to old Rosieres 2040DB oven and tested it to prove it was working – and the element working ok – both worked fine. Then refitted panel on which fan is fixed and switched on again but it doesn’t work this time (nor element!!). Have done this THREE more times, going back to check connections and carefully refitting the panel to avoid damaging connections behind – BUT after initially operating ok for a minute or two have switched it off (to refit other panels) and now NOTHING works.

The other oven does work and no fuses have tripped. What on earth could be the problem????

Christmas is coming and the goose won’t be getting hot!! Marriage is at stake and Santa won’t be getting his usual mince pies!!! 😉
