Since the site was down anyway the opportunity was taken to perform a little upgrade as you may have noticed.

The forums basically operate exactly the same as always but with a few little enhancements. You’ll see at the bottom a “Quick Reply” box, that just saves pressing the “Reply” button and you can simply type a reply in there and submit it quickly.

In the Private Messages section there’s a bit of change, you can now get the system to email you in response to a new private message and you can have what is known as a “Buddy List” , the use of this will become apparent in due course. But basically, you can see any friends that you assign to “Buddy” status as being on or offline.

Again, with this version the old “invalid_session” thing is erradicated, which was the bane of my life for a long time.

So, all in all, we had a few days down but at least something positive came out of that.
