new fridge and freezer wanted

Hi all

Can anyone recommend a good under-counter fridge and freezer (60 cm wide)? Would the freezer be Ok in the garage along with a washer and dryer?

The kitchen is very small and I would like to move these out to the garage. It has a heater in there to stop the temperature going below 5°C, but it can reach 30+ in summer during hot weather.

I haven’t seen any under counter one’s I’d recommend bar Liebherr of late, if you can find them.

Would it be better to try to find space in the kitchen for a fridge/freezer? I have seen some Bosch and Hotpoint models that offer a good amount of storage.

Is frost-free reasonably reliable?

Hi,

Yes, it is preferable (if not essential on most) for refrigeration to be kept in a normal “room temperature” environment.

I’d avoid Hotpoint. 😉

Frost free is reasonably reliable these days, yes.
