Frigidaire gas dryer Gallery Series (if that helps)

    Model: GLGQ2152ES0

Problem: The dryer finished one load then that was it. When I went to dry a second load, the motor wouldn’t spin anymore. All the buttons light up and beep when you press them but nothing more. When I hit “start” I hear some sort of relay or switch click inside but the motor does not turn.

The dryer has gas and electrical supply. It did finish one load. What are common things I can check? Also, is the thermal limiter fairly easily accesible and is it something I can just flip like a circuit breaker?

    Thanks

Is this a UK appliance? If so, you should not do anything to it – we can’t condone anyone working on gas appliances without a CORGI gas certificate; the consequences don’t bear thinking about.

The likely problem will be the motor itself if there is no noise or drive belt if you can hear th e motor whirring away.
