Just installed this solid plate hob and did the 4 minute burn to harden the coating. Got worried when smoke carried on coming out of the aperture between oven and hob. Isolated power and smoke continued for 5 mins until hob cooled down. Hob top steel gets quite hot. Is this coating inside the hob burning off or is this normal?
Worried.
