Hello Been going round in circles trying to find best integrated appliances for new kitchen. I know you get what you pay for and have read about what companies own what brands, but still not sure. Don’t want to be paying over the odds for the same product with a different badge! I’d like reliable products and don’t need fancy extras. We’ve also not had much luck with touch screen controls – they don’t seem to last long and the whole unit needs replacing!! So ideally knob controls. We’re needing an integrated oven, integrated microwave – was initially thinking the full grill would be with the oven, or is the grill in microwave a better option? An integrated under counter fridge and a gas hob ideally black with cast iron supports. Although someone said even the cast iron supports stain with gas. I have stainless steel hob at moment and supports are visibly stained from the gas, no matter how much I clean them. I was thinking Neff appliances but Bosch has caught my eye with a cheaper price tag. Is Bosch still a good reliable mid range product? The extractor I like is Luxair LA-52-CAN-SS with 7-year warranty and excellent extraction. Any advice gratefully received, thank you.

    Hi

Integrated oven? Single, built under double or double built in (waist height and up?)

Is the microwave going in above the oven? What height are you looking at as they do vary?

Gas hob what width are you looking for?

Does the fridge need to have a freezer compartment?

And finally 😉 what budget are you looking at for these appliances?

    Hi Don
    Thanks for your quick reply.
Single fan oven with micro above waist height up. Ideally easy clean but doesn’t need to have any fancy settings. Oh didn’t realise they vary in height – I’m short but my existing top oven with grill, from the floor to top of oven/grill not including the controls is 151cm, this height for the grill is fine for me.
Gas hob would be a 4 burner with wok burner or large burner (this seems to be very similar to a wok burner). Width not sure standard? or is not such a thing as standard? Hob has space to house in large unit underneath and plenty space either side.
My units are an off white with dark worktops. Was hoping to keep hob black colour and oven, micro can be black and or stainless steel.
The fridge doesn’t have a freezer compartment.
Budget around about £1300 / £1500. Reliability and not touch screen controls would be the top priority. Many thanks in advance Kath

    Re: New integrated appaliances

In that case Bosch would be a good start point (part of the same group as Neff) Whirlpool is also another good option. Both these have all the product groups you are looking for which will then give a good match of colour and style.

Single ovens are 60 cm tall, microwaves can be 38.8, 460 or 60cm tall so you need to research these. The integrated larder fridge looks after itself really as it’s behind a door. Cast iron pan supports are the way to go and are the best. As for them marking? Our gas hob at home which is now seven years old the supports are starting to show a little wear, had they been the alloy variety with the black gloss coating they would be in a sad state.

You may be able to come in on that budget depending on the microwave.l

From a selfish point of view I can supply whirlpool or Bosch appliances direct to you. Just fire me some model numbers by email and I’ll have a look.

    HTH 🙂

    Re: New integrated appaliances

    Hi Don
That’s fantastic thank you so much for this information and your time, really appreciate it. Integrated microwaves do seem to be expensive for even the basic ones. Need to check the sizes – glad you said.
Glad cast iron supports are the way to go, as I really like them. Yes, will fire over some models for you to price. Many thanks again

    Re: New integrated appaliances

Hello Don again – have gone round in circles again but made up my mind to ditch the integrated microwave – too expensive for what it is! So going for double integrated oven, gas hob and integrated fridge freezer with additional integrated fridge.

    Know may have to pay a little more but would rather do this and have the reliability. So what do you think about the following;

    AEG HG653431NB
    AEG DEE431010B

    BOSCH SERIE 4 PCP616B90B
    BOSCH SERIE 6 HBH13B261B

    NEFF T26DS49SO
    NEFF U14M42S5GB

    HOTPOINT HLA1

    BOSCH SERIE 4 KUR15A504B

    BOSCH SERIE 4 KIV85V530G

    Many thanks in advance Kath
