New integrated washing machine

I’m looking for a washing machine (or washer/dryer) to replace a 20 year old Neff which has finally given up the ghost. The problem is that the space to fit it is very tight. I’ve got a maximum height of 84 and width of 59.5. Everything I’ve looked at seems to be too big – are there any smaller machines out there?

Bosch WFLi2440

Neff W5320X0GB the Neff version of above.

Smeg WMI16AAA1 1mm wider than the 595 given

Both the Neff and Bosch washing machines look to be the same thing and are the same price, but they should fit without any trouble. The Smeg ain’t bad and also should fit if you shoehorn it in, integrated machines are always very tight on space. 😉

When it comes to built in appliances I always prefer the Neff brand as they have a better spec IMO and clearer control panels. Sizewise the Neff is 595 wide and 816 high which is adjustable.

Unfortunately 595 is the width of the space and there is no tolerance, so it is impossible to slide a machine of the same width in. If there are no smaller machines, it looks like a complete refit of the utility room. 😥

The only one I can find is the Gorenje WDI63113 washer dryer which is 590 wide. Not the best around but under the circumstances better than nothing :wink:. http://www.gorenje.co.uk/washer-dryer Also listed in my info is the WI63113 washing machine only which is not on the Gorenje website which should also be 590 wide. A quick phone call to 0845 050 8555 may be the answer.
