Didn’t want to start a thread in the main forums, I notice Lawrence and one or two others have been invited to check out the new Masterpart web site.
TBH, I have not had a lot of time to look yet but first impressions are not good.
I know around 85{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the correct part numbers or make sure I have them before ordering.
On the old system I could go right to my basket and build an order.
This new one is a real dogs breakfast, if you use the ‘Quick Order’ facility it doesn’t recognise loads of common part numbers, the old system not only recognised them it also gave you several alternatives. It means you have to spend time trawling through the site to find ‘Masterparts’ own part number codes.
It also doesn’t seem to recognise other suppliers codes as the old site does. Entering say CAR69 would recognise it as a Qualtex number and give you the Masterpart alternative.
Need to spend a bit more time poking around but not convinced. 😥
Jim.
