New machine advice needed

My 1987 Servis Starlight is on it’s last legs and I am finally going to buy a new machine. I have been to Currys and John Lewis today and came home utterly confused. I know what I want (I think) but I can’t find it!! I am beginning to wonder if it doesn’t actually exist so I thought I would ask some real experts.

This is what I am after:

6 or 7 kilo capacity maximum
Brushless motor – it has to be a quiet machine
‘Normal’ programmes – Cottons, Coloureds, Synthetics, Wool etc
Variable temp/spin control
Rinse hold
Delay start
Some kind of soak cycle (my Servis has this)
I do like the 20 degree cycle idea that seem to be on new machines.

I don’t want a machine that has cycles like Sport, Bedding, Duvet, Shirts, Babies etc.

Can anyone help or am I looking for something that doesn’t exist?

Siemens or Bosch then, but forget 20 deg cycles as low temp saves ‘energy’ but does’nt clean nothin’?
