    My mate has purchased a new washing machine because the bearings have gone on his old hotpoint. His old one is a Hotpoint WMA series. I think it is a wma42. Could i use his motor for my WMA09?

    I can’t find a WMA09 as a Hotpoint model. 😕

    You might be able to but I think Hotpoint did use some different motors across that range so you’d probably have to take a look and see.
