Hi All

Just purchased a NEFF N90 T69FUV4L0 induction hob to replace a very similar 10yr old NEFF model.

Electrician hard wired the hob and upon the first initial power up, we noticed when pressing the power button on the hob, a white square symbol to the right of the selector knob lit up in a continuous clockwise direction without any useable functions or lights available.

It was about 45secs before I could use the power button to start using the hob.

The hob seems to work on all zones once 45secs passed, and when pressing the power button off, it will come back on again immediately.

It appears when you isolate the main power and return it back on again there is a “warm” up sequence before the hob is useable.

There is no mention of this within the manual, and so I contacted NEFF support to see if this is normal, but the guy I spoke to said he wasn’t aware of any start up sequence after any mains isolation, so just said keep an eye on it and report back if there are any problems.

Not very reassuring, so I just wondered if any other owners of recent Neff induction hobs can confirm this does happen after say a power outage on initial start up?

Thank you 🙂

Thanks kaibart , yes the hob is the latest that has wifi.
I was just curious why this happened, as its not mentioned in the manual and assumed it may have been a fault at first.
It’s working fine .

Thanks again.

The WiFi connection is essentially a raspberry pie which is a computer so connect it up as it will need to update from time to time same as our phone and tablets this is across all new bosch neff Siemens range of products now unfortunately
