I’m working on it , I still need more info from SOS, she was out again today and I ran out of time yesterday 🙁
In the meantime, keep the thread near the top if possible, it’s already had nearly 300 viewings 😉
Don’t make it a sticky though, too obvious.

Yes he is, without doubt. He was employed as a sales guy and Brock etc are already realising this is a mistake as people have read UKW and are refusing to have anything to do with it 😀
X-point solutions never took off and never will, again, UKW blew it out apparently 😆
NESN are now aware of Dave Ince’s involvement and that ServicePower appear to have nicked their software, they got a copy of a job somehow 8)
More as I get it 😉

Oh I love it :stir:
I will let you know if DB gets back to me as he said he would both on the phone and with the later email he sent.
I wonder then if he has read the trade pages here on UKW by getting an account to access such 🙄

Look what I just found issued on the 5th Feb this year:
* Servicepower Technologies first-half pretax loss £1.59 million vs £1.15 million; sees software business improving significantly in second half; new FSS business exceeded its expectations.
Hmmmm

So they’ve lost 1.5 Milllion GBP in the first 6 months of trading, off to a flying start then eh? 😆
Seriously, if I were looking at that as a potential account I’d be more than a little skeptical as they’ve bugger all record bar a bunch that have “history” in the industry, restrictive trading policies, poor rates for high maintenance service and they are losing money into the bargain. Not exactly an appealing prospect on the face of it, is it?
In the end as usual it’s up to induviduals to chose their own path but I won’t be (effectively) lending this outfit any of my money by working on account for them.

Are the parent company in the States aware of the history with J.T. and his dirty dealings?
Can I assume they have found something on the net? or is it an idea to perhaps point them in the right direction?

I should bloody well hope not and, if they did, then they deserve all they get!
At least they can have plausible deniability when the shit hits the fan. 😆
Alex wrote:Can I assume they have found something on the net? or is it an idea to perhaps point them in the right direction?
I would assume that one of them has found this software in the search for something appropriate when they were setting up, one thing led to another and this is where it ended up.
However, for in here only, we got a copy of a job sent out well, two now actually, by this outfit and lo and behold, it appears that they’re using the NESN call management system to operate. Hence my comment regarding the software.
Now, think about it a bit…
That software could only have been obtained by one of two people there, Dave Ince or JT. So one of thm just broke the rules of the game big time.
But, more than that, if they’re using that for now and not the Service Power stuff then what the fuck is all this deal about? My only conclusion is that rather than just give them the software that they have to earn it or pay for it from the US parent. Obviously they’ve bugger all money and certainly not enough to pay for a package like that, so they have to fudge it for now.
I need more facts before pushing that one any further but it’s very, very interesting and pretty much the way the Yanks would deal with it as, if there ain’t a buck in it they won’t do it.

Just got off the phone from David Brock…seems he has read the negative comments here on UKW and is not a happy chappy. Simply refering to this site as, and I quote ” there seems to be some confusion over my motives on certain websites!” 😆

If that’s the case someone is feeding the info back to them, as far as I know, no-one from ServicePower has access to the trade forums.
It’s probably just “feedback” I would imagine though.

Well, he might be pissed off but tough shit.
His choice of staff is poor and using a software house’s name in vain and misconstruing what they are is a bit on the wrong side of naughty. Apparently they’ve already been blown out and had a bollocking from Powerhouse, his former employer!
Rumour has it that they’re not exactly as above board as theylike to make out and that a load of the stuff about the stock market is just crap. I need to dig more.

Dave.I was talking to someone on Thursday afternoon who is an old buddy of David Brock, and this person is a member of UKW. He doesn’t come on here often, but was on for a long time Friday a.m. Ken knows who I mean.
This guy thought Mr. Brock was the bees knees. Nowt so queer as folk!
