They’ve had a few mentions of late in the forums, taking £18 a call etc, they only deal with the public by the looks of it, and not to be trusted.

LMFAO ! If that wanker thinks that anyone in this industry would carry out work for anything he’s invloved in 😉

Very possibly true, I would imagine they are always “shopping around” for the best deal. I’m sure we’ll learn more if anything develops.

KeymasterInsurers looking about wouldn’t surprise me, but if you think about it there’s hellish little places to look and any of the existing networks have huge crossovers. Add that to the diminishing number of engineers actually in the field and they’re pretty much fucked, especially in rural areas. Hell, even in some of the major cities there’s cover issues and, if there’s not, there’s often quality issues.
It’s about time we woke up to ourselves and realised it!

Your right there Ken, we had some severe issues with D&G this week at it came to the point of us giving them 30 days notice. The next day they were on the phone with most of our problems resolved.
Point is they did not want to lose us and the postcodes we cover are Leicestershire ones, not exactly out on the sticks.
So I think, we the idependants, are in a stronger position now than ever to get some co-operation and understanding from these people.

I have to agree there John, 2005 should be a significant year and we should (I hope) start to see our efforts rewarded.

Indeed Martin but we need more proof JT is involved.
I’m pretty certain he is but my contact within the stone walls of SOS appears to be on holiday this week 🙄 and they want info on this apparently so it would appear that either JT or Ince are invloved or possibly both.
More will follow on this I’m sure as they’ve obviously selectively chosen who to mailshot.

Servicepower have a couple of UK bases on thier website, one of them being a company called Beaver Electronics :rotl:
Owned by one Mr David Ince, ex director of NESN and long time good buddy of Trubbish, also sat on the board of the European buying group that invloved Nedis and SEME.
Good name Beaver for his company if you use the US term 😀
