Finally have our replacement fridge-freezer (first replacement was rejected as it arrived damaged).
Compared to the first one it is almost silent most of the time – so if you have one of these and it sounds like a tractor then compain to Bosch!!
Hopefully it will work for more than 3 months without freezing-up like the old one.
I also note that the new one has “/06” after the model number whereas the first one we had was “/02” – don’t know if this is anything to do with the modification level?

I have posted about about a problem with my KGN33V00GB previously and was linked to this thread.

To re cap, we had the temp increasing in the fridge and was pointed to the above fix.

I have though, not contacted Bosch, as a defrost in April cured the problem……yet it is coming back! The fridge temperature is rising with no change in activity.

Is there anything I should know from the experts here to quote to BSH so they don’t try and fob me off when they come to fix it?

Should I let it get warmer before I call them, it is definately warmer/not as cold as when it was defrosted?

We had the engineer call and fit the mod kit.

Whilst it took a while to drop it’s temp, it has done.
