new oven and hob

I am looking for a gas hob with five burners and a double electric oven. I want something solid and reliable that works well. I am a fairly serious cook and want oven temperatures to be reliable etc and to be able to simmer on the hob. I’m looking at AEG, Neff, Siemens, and Bosch and have no idea which one to go with. Which are the better built ones? Also, what accounts for the difference on oven price?

Bosch,Neff and Siemens are part of the same stable all of their products are worth looking at. AEG are part of the Electrolux and Zanussi group not the quality they once were but a lot better than most.

As for oven prices, functionality, cleaning modes, slide and hide doors and door glass layers affect prices.

Take a look at the Bosch website http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/ for models on both categories then you can Google machines for prices.

Research, research and research some more 😉

I have done all this research before I joined this group. Bosch’s website is rubbish. It does not even give the kw output of the hob burners. I have joined Which and read their reports. I was hoping for some expert knowledge.

Have you looked at Stoves? Good products on a par with Bosch.

Which model numbers are you wanting the KW output on?
