Ok… got my new X4PET last night and built it up.. but even though i know its a obvious question i need to ask,,,

The flexi hose… in the instructions it tells you to attach the black end to the top of short pipe coming out of the bag housing … but it says nothing about how the other end, the one all the attachments go on to,, how that attaches ?

Now it seems almost obvious that it just drops loosely down into the hard plastic tube that goes onto the back of the vacuum… the only thing i thought though is it just seems to drop in and only its own weight keeps it there… and seeing as thats the main suction hose i expected a slightly better seal / fit other than it just resting loosely inside that tube..

    I missing anything here?

    cheers 🙂

It’s NOT the main suction hose when using the carpet sweeper. It only becomes the main suction hose when you unhook the tube and use it with the attachments such as the brush and crevice tool. Otherwise the hose just rests inside the tube.

The hose does just slip in the extension tube on the back, the suction will suck it down to the bottom, it is that simple. You can take the hose out the extension tube and attach the tools to it or pull the extension tube off the cleaner and attach the tools to the end for extra reach
