BROWESING THROUGH WEB SITES FOR LINKS, FOR SPARES AND FOUND A COMPREHENSIVE SETUP ON A ZANUSSI’S SITE. THEY SEEM TO HAVE A FULL RUNNING IDENTIFIER FOR SPARES, ALL MODELS,PRODUCTS, AND AN ADD BASKET FOR SPARES, WITH PRICING ON.(COMPARE PRICES??) AGAINST YOUR SUPPLIER.
TYPE IN “ZANUSSI” ON YOUR SEARCH. CLICK ON TO “CUSTOMER SERVICES”. THEN SELECT “SPARE PARTS ONLINE”
OPENS ALL SORTS UP FOR YOU.

I’ve been aware of this site for some time, it’s basically the “public” version of Electrolux’s trade spares site Procorner.
Very handy for part identification for those without trade accounts with Lux, my big concern though, especially with this site is that a member of the public can buy anything, and I mean anything on there, including high voltage microwave spares and gas cooker parts.
Not illegal to sell of course but there is a certain morality (or should that be mortality) in what spares should be available to the public who we know nothing of by way of expertise.

QUITE AGREE WITH YOU DAVE, BUT WHEN I WAS IN THE TRADE/COMPANY, IT WAS ALWAYS REFUSED FOR PARTS/SALES OVER THE COUNTER TO JOE PUBLIC, UNLESS THERE REPUTIBLE PROOF YOU COULD WORK WITH THESE. AS IN THE GAS SPARES/SALES.
PROOF REQUIRED. ie CORGI REG CARD.P.S. IS THEIR ANY DECENT UP TO DATE SITES THAT GIVE A GOOD PICTORIAL, AND MODEL INFO, TO GET PART No’S OFF ETC. COVERING A WIDE RANGE OF BRANDS. ALSO ON GAS APP’S. AT THE MOMENT I USE KITCHEN ECON, GAS APPS AT PRESTON. AND IF YOU CAN GET YOUR HEAD AROUND THERE SYSTEM HRPC.??

The best by far (in my opinion anyway) is Connect’s Mediator, the old Washvac system is now dead I believe in favour of the new Partfinder (HRPC) website, whic as you say is not exactly easy to negotiate.
Bosch have their own (in the weblinks section).
The only sure way is to buy the manufacturers CD’s/DVD’s.
