    It’s an ESSENTIALS CTF34W18 – maybe it’s essentially cheapo cr*p – I don’t know.

The v. old proline tabletop that eventually packed in coped perfectly set at Normal for -18c.
It’s well ventilated and situated where the old one was

I let it sit for hours before turning on.
I left it set at Normal for 24 hrs before inserting a couple of icepacks for freezing.
I checked 4 hours later and ice packs were still soft save for thin crusting of ice.
Had to turn it up to approx 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} for them to freeze internally as far as I could feel
Approx 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} to get -18c with thermometer laid between the two icepacks.

With old Proline it’d freeze them pretty quickly after a defrost – no problem.

Yes, I know it’s hot weather but the indoor temperature here is well within the stated tolerance.

It’s been running for 2 days now What do you reckon?

I don’t want to fill it, if it really needs returning.
