New washing machine + international warranty

I was hoping to get a general opinion on the following question.

I will shortly be moving to Australia and I have been told that washing machines are very expensive and front loading washing machines are hard to come by (as they favour the top loader versions).

As all my goods will be shipped over in a container I was thinking about buying a machine here and shipping it over.

Are there any models of washing machines that have an international warranty?

If you were going to do this what machine brand would you take (would an ISE5 machine be on the short list?)

You will most likely find that spares for UK models are not avaliable in OZy land .
