I’m quite careful when it comes to spending money (or a tight git according to my wife) so I need to be sure that I’m going to use something before I buy.

I eventually took the plunge and got one. Convenient as I already have the 10.8v batteries but might not be worth it if you don’t.

I’ve had it for 10 days and I’ve used it every day. It’s absolutely great. Not too heavy to carry in your tools bag. Pricey I know but definitely worth a look.

yep, these are great Martin, have had 4/5 in a couple of years.
trouble is, I keep leaving them inside people’s machines, because of the magnet allowing you to stick it to the sides of the machine, to locate leaks etc.
    great cheap torch though!

Oh yes I did that once on a Neff W/Dryer. Customer phoned next day saying her machine was glowing underneath when she went in the utility room in the dark…Oooops!

Some people pay extra for machines with glowing lights, she should have been well pleased with the modification.

I find that as well. 🙁 Now it’s possible some of the screwdrivers, spanners, torches etc I’ve lost over the years are inside machines, under kitchen units and what have you, but they can’t all be.

In the quarter of a century I’ve been at this game, I can think of only two occasions when I’ve had a call to say I’ve left something behind.

People love ‘free’ stuff I’m afraid 👿

Had to turn back once after leaving something in a bosch washing machines after repairing a bosch motor. She said the machine has been ringing! Used to use the flash as a work light.
