ModeratorI need the far left simmerstat for this cooker. Appears to be a Stoves.
Anyone know the part number or do I need to ring Stoves?
Is there a generic that will fit ?

Almost certainly a Stoves, if you have the 05????? number I’ll check it out, it’s virtually impossible without that. 😕
A quick search for this particular model revealed nothing on the info I have here 🙁

Thanks. Actually I was repairing the washer, an Indesit stainless steel drum bearing change. Even managed to do this one. They asked me about the cooker which has been faulty since it was delivered 2 years ago.
The simmerstat shaft is just flopping around. They intended to get rid of the washer, cooker, dryer etc., they are all Silver, all 2 years old and they did not want any old cowboy in their house. They would sooner scrap perfectly sound appliances 😥 and buy more cheapo stuff. 👿
A work colleague gave them my number. 🙂

Part number 082045800 which supersedes to 012590800.
It should be about £15 trade, the simmerstat itself is described as a 30ER22MHT on Stoves tech info which I can find no alternative for.
Hope that helps anyway 🙂

Phoned Stoves minutes before you posted. 🙂
Aparently two different controls depending on serial number, earlier one at around £8.50 plus vat and PP, to the public and the one I need at around £12.00 plus.
I think the number you have given is the correct one and is a replacement for the earlier one as well.July 29, 2005 at 10:10 am #143394Dave_Conway
