New Zanusii Frost Free Fridge Freezer “Ticks like a Clock”

Hello Can anyone please throw any light on my problem the F/F “Constantly Ticks” like a clock, at a very fast rate when the compressor is running? and quite loudly too! We have had it 6 days and someone is coming out to see it Tuesday and would like to have some info. Thank you for reading this. Its a ZRB324NXO

On the face of it, it sounds like a faulty compressor or compressor fan if one is fitted.

If it’s the fan it’s probably just been bumped in transit or installation and will be a two minute fix.

It doe’s have a defrost timer on this which maybe noisy

i will be the defrost timer, been to 2 of these appliances in the last week for this fault. they work ok but do sound like an old clock ticking loudly.
